Richard Henrikson, Partner

Mr. Henrikson has over 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including having served as Chief Operating Officer of Liberty Group. Rick maintained overall managerial control over Liberty Hospitality Management, with operational and financial responsibility for hotels throughout the United States.

Rick is an award-winning operator with a substantial background operating Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Starwood and Radisson hotels throughout the United States. He previously served on the Country Inn & Suites Owner’s Committee for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group and on the Crowne Plaza Owner’s Advisory Board for InterContinental Hotels Group.

Matthew Pica, Partner

Mr. Pica has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including having served as the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Operations for GF Hotels. Additionally, Mr. Pica has been named as a Receiver in over 150 receiverships, work-outs, and foreclosures.

Matt graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Business Degree and a Hotel & Restaurant Degree, and has served on the Franchise Advisory Board for Radisson Hotels, as Education Chairman for the New York State Tourism Board, and the “I Love NY” Campaign Committee.

Hugh Wall, Director of Acquisitions and Development

Mr. Wall has over 30 years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry including acquisitions, asset management, bankruptcy, dispositions, financial analysis, internal auditing, loan work-out, property operations, REO management and value enhancement.

Previously, he was a Director of REO Sales with C-III Asset Management and was responsible for a team of professionals working on commercial real estate dispositions in excess of $2 Billion with an emphasis on the hospitality, industrial, multi-family, medical office, senior living and student housing REO assets through-out the US.

 Hugh was responsible for operating a $2.4 billion hotel portfolio located throughout the Western United States in his role as an Executive Vice President for Extended Stay Hotels, a Blackstone Real Estate Group investment. As Acquisitions Director for The Milestone Group, Vice President for WMC Management Company, Senior Asset Manager for The Archon Group and Vice President for Insignia Financial Group, Mr. Wall established a successful track record in the acquisition, asset management, and disposition of multi-family, commercial and hospitality assets throughout the United States.

 Hugh holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana in 1989. He previously held a Texas Real Estate license. all begins with an idea. Nicole Barnes, Director of Social Media Support

Ms. Barnes has numerous years of experience in digital, and social media, and has developed marketing collateral for numerous projects.  Over the past years Nicole has been successful in working for non-for-profit organizations.  Over time she has been able to expand clients web presences via social media, marketing collaterals, and geo-traffic online interactions.  Nicole has also been involved in event planning and executing fund raisers successfully.  She has a knack for searching and uncovering new business and is passionate about customer service for the hotels she has represented! 

Nicole graduated from Mercyhurst University with a Degree in Marketing
